Do you set monthly goals for your blog? If you don’t, now is the time to start. Writing out your goals can help you be accountable for your actions. When you are a blogger or a business owner, accountability is important.  In this post, I’m going to share with you my May blogging goals!

Why set goals?

If you are a blogger, you probably know all to well that it can be totally overwhelming at times! There’s so much to learn and do, especially in the beginning of your blogging journey.

I’ll be completely honest…I’m not the best at setting goals and actually accomplishing them. I get overwhelmed trying to do everything all at once and then I just give up. However, I am determined to make this blog a successful business.

The desire to succeed has pushed me to be more accountable. I’ve decided each month I will post my goals for the month and I will send out my accomplishments at the end of the month to my email list. I’ll even be including things I didn’t accomplish.

Setting goals helps keep you accountable. I would recommend that you also start making a monthly blogging goal list. You don’t have to share it with everyone, but maybe have an accountability partner to help you stay on track!

Now, on to my May blogging goals!

May Blogging Goals

Finish the Pinterest Ninja course

I have started the Pinterest Ninja course, but I haven’t been consistent with studying daily and actually implementing what I have learned so far. My  goal for May is to work hard on completing the course and hopefully I will see my monthly views and blog traffic from Pinterest rise.

Right now, Pinterest and Facebook are my biggest sources of traffic but I’m not where I want to be at. My monthly Pinterest views as of today is only 56,000. I would love to see it rise to at least 80,000 by the end of May. I’m not sure if that is reasonable, but that’s my goal.

Finish The She Approach to Boosting Your Blog Traffic ebook

I have started The She Approach to Boosting Your Blog Traffic ebook, but I haven’t finished the book. My goal for May is to finish and implement the information I learn to help boost my blog traffic.
